The idea of making the street sign written in local encryption has been done in Yogyakarta since a long time ago. Now, Bandung has started renewing its street signs by adding up the Sundanese encryption. I'm not sure about how many more recent generations are still able to read and write the encryption --at least we could see this as a good idea in preserving our culture.

Interesting..."iskandar" looks a lot like the word in Arabic "Iskandria" which is Alexandria (as in Egypt)
